Bible Study "lite"

This is a fantastic deal to give your prayer life a kick. The stories are told by women who seem to have much experience with leading bible studies and studying scripture. My only pet peeve is in the middle of each teaching lesson, there is a testimonial from an anonymous lady, different every time. I found it distracting and thought it could have been placed at the end instead of the middle of the lesson. It could have also been placed at the very beginning of the lessons as an intro? For some, this may not bother them at all.
The guidebook is short and sweet. There are just a few questions after each video. There are good quotes pulled from the speaker which I appreciate. It does not include studies to work through during the week, but you could spread that week's questions over the week if you really wanted. It has only the questions for that day's video which include scripture study and then questions to apply to your own life. I like that there are different women from which to hear teach. This introduces me to some that I will definately pursue online for their books and blogs. This is not a big Beth Moore study those goes in depth or a DVD full of flyers for your church to do the study. If you are a Sunday School teacher, this would be a good series for the summer as each session stands alone. You can jump in at any session and not be behind.
This has been a lovely way to start my morning prayer time. Each session is about 15-20 minutes. It is a fresh take on different women in the bible. I have already ordered the next one! I hope there are more DVD/guide book sets likethis to come from Zondervan. I WOULD BUY THEM ALL!!! The price includes the DVD & the book.

Great Bible study for women!

I was looking for a Bible study to do with my friends and I am so glad we found the books and DVDs from "Real Women, Real Faith." Every women in my bible study are having an amazing experience with God's word trough using this DVDs and books. What I like the most about "Real Women, Real Faith" is to hear how 6 different Godly women on this series are talking and describing the lives of 12 women in the Bible, one per session, in a very different and powerful way. Every lesson we are studying has a massage that challenge us to see God's truth, God's love and his powerful work in us in a more personal way. The message I get in every chapter we study, in every short video we watch is the reassurance that God is real, for real women and He works in us, trough us when we use real faith. This amazing study is for sure one of God's tools to help us to understand, to teach and to empower us to have and use faith. I would definitely recommend "Real Women, Real Faith" for women looking for a Bible or personal study.

Life-Changing Indeed

I really liked the format of this DVD. The six women are bringing six important but very different female characters in the bible closer into today's life. A great study for individual use as well as for groups.
