First You Charge the Card.....

I have to start out by saying Gambit is my favorite X-Man. He's always been sexy, mysterious, cavelier, and that he constantly challenged Wolverine made him tops for me. The comic starts with Remy Lebioux as a kid in New Orleans and jumps into rescue a child Bella Donna, daughter of the head of the Assassins Guild. It cuts to his wedding of Bella, the first showing of his powers, and being cast out of his home.
The story jumps forward years and never gets very in depth with the "what's" and "why's" of Gambit over the years. From the end of a business relationship with Mr Sinister and later saving Storm (looked like a child Storm but didn't specify).
I wish this would have been the first in a Gambit series, but it's just a single book. The art in the book is beautiful, though Gambit in his younger days apparently didn't mix as many words with his adversaries. My main gripe is there won't be more.
